Concordancia Diagnóstica de Papanicolaou e Histología en Lesiones Intraepiteliales en el Hospital Regional Docente Materno Infantil El Carmen, Huancayo 2022-2023.

Abstract

El objetivo fue determinar el nivel de concordancia diagnóstica del Papanicolaou e histología en lesiones intraepiteliales en el Hospital Regional Docente Materno Infantil El Carmen, Huancayo 2022-2023. El método de estudio fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo observacional, retrospectivo, transversal y analítico. De diseño correlacional. Los resultados muestran la sensibilidad del papanicolaou en el diagnóstico de lesiones intraepiteliales fue del 94,11%, la especificidad fue del 66,66%, el valor predictivo positivo fue del 94,11% y el valor predictivo negativo fue del 40%. En conclusión, el valor del índice de Kappa de Cohen que se obtuvo fue de 0,63 lo que nos refiere un nivel alto de concordancia entre ambos diagnósticos, con lo cual aceptamos la hipótesis alternativa.

The objective was to determine the level of diagnostic concordance of Papanicolaou and histology in intraepithelial lesions at the Hospital Regional Docente Materno Infantil El Carmen, Huancayo 2022-2023. The study method was quantitative, observational, retrospective, cross-sectional and analytical. Correlational design. The results show that the sensitivity of Papanicolaou in the diagnosis of intraepithelial lesions was 94.11%, the specificity was 66.66%, the positive predictive value was 94.11% and the negative predictive value was 40%. In conclusion, the value of Cohen's Kappa index obtained was 0.63, which refers to a high level of concordance between both diagnoses, thus accepting the alternative hypothesis.
