Taller Y Charla Sobre Prevención En Salud Bucal A Padres De La Institución Educativa Inicial Caminitos Del Saber Lima 2023

Abstract

El objetivo es evaluar el conocimiento de los padres sobre la prevención en salud bucal tras participar en un taller y charla educativa en la I.E.I. Caminitos del Saber, Lima 2023. Método fue observacional, descriptivo, transversal y con enfoque cuantitativo. La muestra incluyó a 59 padres, se aplicó un cuestionario online y se analizaron los datos mediante estadística descriptiva con SPSS v.26. Los resultados mostraron que el 52,5% de los padres obtuvo un nivel alto de conocimiento general, destacando áreas como higiene bucal (69,5%) y alimentos cariogénicos (74,6%). Sin embargo, el conocimiento sobre fluoración fue bajo (28,8%). Se concluye que la intervención educativa mejoró el conocimiento de los padres, requiere reforzar algunos contenidos específicos como la fluoración.

The objective was to evaluate the knowledge of parents about oral health prevention after participating in a workshop and educational talk at the I.E.I. Caminitos del Saber, Lima 2023. The method was observational, descriptive, cross-sectional and with a quantitative approach. The sample included 59 parents, an online questionnaire was applied and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with SPSS v.26. The results showed that 52.5% of parents obtained a high level of general knowledge, highlighting areas such as oral hygiene (69.5%) and cariogenic foods (74.6%). However, knowledge of fluoridation was low (28.8%). It is concluded that the educational intervention improved parental knowledge, but requires reinforcing some specific contents such as fluoridation.
