Depresión y adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo 2 del Centro de Salud Los Olivos – Ayacucho, 2025.

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la depresión y la adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo 2 del Centro de Salud Los Olivos Ayacucho 2025. La investigación fue de tipo básico, de nivel correlacional, de diseño no experimental transversal; la muestra fue de tipo censal que estuvo conformada por 43 pacientes. Los resultados fueron que en su mayoría no tienen depresión siendo el 32,6% (14) y el 62,8 % (27) tienen una buena adherencia al tratamiento. Conclusión: se determinó que existe relación inversa muy alta entre la depresión y la adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con diabetes mellitus (Rho = -0,844, p=0,001).

The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between depression and treatment adherence in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Los Olivos Ayacucho 2025 Health Center. The study was basic, correlational, and non-experimental cross-sectional in design; the sample was census-based and consisted of 43 patients. The results showed that the majority did not have depression, with 32.6% (14) and 62.8% (27) having good treatment adherence. Conclusion: a very high inverse relationship was found between depression and treatment adherence in patients with diabetes mellitus (Rho = -0.844, p=0.001).
