Abstract
Objetivo de la siguiente investigación fue determinar los factores asociados a la prevalencia de anemia ferropénica en niños menores de 5 años en el Centro de salud Juan Parra del Riego, Huancayo 2024. La investigación fue de tipo básica y un diseño no experimental, explicativo – causal, la técnica utilizada fue la revisión documental. Los resultados fue la prevalencia de anemia un 66,2% en los niños del estudio; al verificar los factores asociados a la prevalencia de anemia se evidenció que, el no consumo de alimentos de origen animal fue el único factor que se asoció a la prevalencia de anemia (OR=2,685; p-valor=0,011). En conclusión, se determinó que el no consumo de alimentos de origen animal fue un factor asociado a la prevalencia de anemia ferropénica.
