Evaluación de la prescripción de medicamentos en el consultorio de gastroenterología del Hospital Daniel Alcides Carrión, Cerro de Pasco – 2025

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar los criterios de la prescripción de medicamentos consignada en las recetas emitidas en el consultorio de Gastroenterología del Hospital Daniel Alcides Carrión, Cerro de Pasco – 2025. El estudio fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada y nivel descriptivo, con diseño no experimental, transversal y retrospectivo. La muestra fue de 142 recetas. Los resultados mostraron que en los datos generales predominó el sexo femenino (60,6 %) y el grupo etario de 45 a 59 años (32,4 %); el diagnóstico más frecuente fue dispepsia (K30.X) con 50,0 %. Se concluye que la prescripción es pertinente, normativa y segura en su mayoría; sin embargo, presenta limitaciones en el uso racional, principalmente por la cantidad de medicamentos por receta y el uso de antibióticos.

This research aimed to evaluate the criteria for prescribing medications as recorded in prescriptions issued at the Gastroenterology Clinic of the Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital in Cerro de Pasco, 2025. The study employed a quantitative, applied, and descriptive approach, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and retrospective design. The sample consisted of 142 prescriptions. The results showed that the majority of patients were female (60.6%) and aged 45 to 59 years (32.4%). The most frequent diagnosis was dyspepsia (K30.X) at 50.0%. The study concluded that the prescriptions were mostly appropriate, compliant with regulations, and safe; however, limitations in their rational use were observed, primarily due to the number of medications per prescription and the use of antibiotics.
