Abstract
El objetivo de esta investigación fue averiguar la asociación entre la agenesia del tercer molar y otras anomalías dentales en radiografías panorámicas de pacientes del centro de rayos, Lima, 2020 a 2022. Tipo de investigación fue relacional descriptivo y transversal. La muestra fue de 580 radiografías. Los resultados mostraron que el 13.3% tiene hipoplasia, 0.3% supernumerarios, 1.2% microdoncia, 0.2% dientes en clavija, entre otros. En el 7.2% de los pacientes se observaron anomalías dentales asociados con la agenesia del 3M. Se concluyó que existe una asociación altamente significativa en las anomalías dentales en radiografías panorámicas.
The aim of this research was to find out the association between third molar agenesis and other dental anomalies in panoramic radiographs of patients from the ray center, Lima, 2020 to 2022. Type of research was relational descriptive and cross-sectional. The sample was 580 radiographs. The results showed that 13.3% had hypoplasia, 0.3% had supernumerary teeth, 1.2% had microdontia, 0.2% had peg teeth, among others. In 7.2% of the patients dental anomalies associated with 3M agenesis were observed. It was concluded that there is a highly significant association in dental anomalies in panoramic radiographs.
