Abstract
El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar los factores asociados a la prescripción de medicamentos psicotrópicos en pacientes del Centro de Salud Mental Comunitario de Huancayo 2023. La investigación fue de tipo descriptivo, no experimental y de corte transversal. La muestra fue conformada por 210 pacientes. Los resultados indican que el 64.3% de los pacientes fueron de sexo femenino, el 55.7% tiene grado de instrucción secundaria, el 77.6% tienen condición laboral de empleados, el 82.4% son convivientes, el 47.6% fue diagnosticado por Ansiedad, al 52.9% se les recetó Alprazolam; seguido del 29% con Clonazepam, al 13.3% no les solicitaron receta médica. Se concluye que los factores sociodemográficos y el tipo de diagnóstico influyen en la prescripción de medicamentos psicotrópicos.
