Factores que Influyen al Incumplimiento del Tratamiento con Antibióticos en Pacientes Urológicos del Hospital Carlos Monge Medrano, Juliaca – 2024.

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar los factores que influyen al incumplimiento del tratamiento con antibióticos en pacientes urológicos en el Hospital Carlos Monge Medrano, Juliaca - 2024. El método fue cuantitativo, el diseño metodológico fue descriptivo, no experimental; se contó con una muestra de 108 pacientes. Los resultados indican que va al urólogo es del sexo masculino (82,4%), la edad más recurrente, de 61 años a más (32,4%), la patología más frecuente fue la ITU infección del tracto urinario (69,4%), el antibiótico más recetado fue el ciprofloxacino (54,6%), los pacientes manifestaron presentar reacciones adversas (35,2%). En conclusión, los factores exógenos son los que tienen influencia en el incumplimiento del tratamiento con antibióticos, por la falta de información, orientación, automedicación y abandono del mismo.

The objective of the research was to determine the factors that influence noncompliance with antibiotic treatment in urological patients at the Carlos Monge Medrano Hospital, Juliaca - 2024. The method was quantitative, the methodological design was descriptive, non-experimental; there was a sample of 108 patients. The results indicate that the most frequent patient who went to the urologist was male (82.4%), the most recurrent age was 61 years or older (32.4%), the most frequent pathology was UTI urinary tract infection (69.4%), the most prescribed antibiotic was ciprofloxacin (54.6%), and the patients reported adverse reactions (35.2%). In conclusion, exogenous factors are those that influence non-compliance with antibiotic treatment, due to lack of information, orientation, self-medication and abandonment of treatment.
