Abstract
Este estudio fue Evaluar el nivel de conocimiento y practica sobre la alimentación complementaria en madres de niños de 6 a 12 meses de edad en el centro de salud de Chilca, siendo la metodología, descriptivo, correlacional y el diseño de estudio fue no experimental transversal, en una muestra de 30 madres. Resultados, el 53,3% tienen un conocimiento alto y su práctica es adecuada en un 30.0%, así mismo el 30.0% de madres tiene un nivel de conocimiento medio y la práctica es adecuada en un 20.0 % e inadecuada en un 10.0%, el 16%de madres tienen un nivel de conocimiento bajo y la práctica es adecuada en un 10 % e inadecuada en un 6.7%; concluyéndose, que las madres tienen un conocimiento y practica alto sobre alimentación complementaria
