Conocimiento y actitudes sobre vacunas en madres con hijos menores de 5 años del centro de salud Río Negro-2025

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar la relación entre el conocimiento y actitudes sobre vacunas en madres con hijos menores de 5 años del centro de salud Río Negro-2025. El método fue de tipo básico, con un diseño, no experimental, correlacional y transversal. Se contó con una población de 180 madres y con una muestra de 123 madres. Los resultados indicaron que 80 madres representan el 65% con un nivel de conocimiento regular de la vacunación. Asimismo, 99 madres representan el 81% y muestran actitudes regulares sobre la vacunación. En conclusión, se determinó que existe una relación significativa entre el conocimiento y actitudes sobre vacunas en madres con hijos menores de 5 años del centro de salud Río Negro-2025 (Rho Spearman de 0,622 y un valor p de 0,002).

The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes about vaccines in mothers with children under 5 years of age at the Río Negro-2025 health center. The method was basic, with a non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional design. The population consisted of 180 mothers, and the sample consisted of 123 mothers. The results indicated that 80 mothers, representing 65%, had a moderate level of knowledge about vaccination. Likewise, 99 mothers, representing 81%, had moderate attitudes toward vaccination. In conclusion, it was determined that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes about vaccines in mothers with children under 5 years of age at the Río Negro-2025 health center (Rho Spearman of 0.622 and a p-value of 0.002).
