Conocimiento y prácticas preventivas sobre el VIH/SIDA en adolescentes de la I.E.E. N.º 0528 – Tarapoto, 2025

Abstract

El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y las prácticas preventivas sobre el VIH/SIDA en adolescentes de la I.E.E. N.° 0528 de Tarapoto, 2025. La investigación fue básica, con enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, transversal y correlacional. La población y muestra censal estuvo conformada por 50 estudiantes de cuarto y quinto grado de secundaria. Se utilizó la encuesta y un cuestionario validado (KR-18 = 0,80). Los resultados evidenciaron que el 72 % presentó conocimiento medio y el 28 % alto. En prácticas preventivas, el 96 % mostró conductas adecuadas. La prueba exacta de Fisher no evidenció relación significativa (p = 0,486). Se concluye que no existe relación significativa entre las variables estudiadas.

The study aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and preventive practices regarding HIV/AIDS among adolescents at I.E.E. No. 0528 in Tarapoto, 2025. The research was basic, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, cross-sectional and correlational. The population and census sample consisted of 50 fourth- and fifth-year secondary school students. A survey and a validated questionnaire (KR-18 = 0.80) were used. The results showed that 72% had average knowledge and 28% had high knowledge. In terms of preventive practices, 96% showed appropriate behaviors. Fisher's exact test showed no significant relationship (p = 0.486). It is concluded that there is no significant relationship between the variables studied.
