Dolor Cervical Frente al Uso de un Desprogramador Oclusal en Pacientes Atendidos en la Clínica Estomatológica Universitaria Huancayo 2022.

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene por objetivo determinar el nivel del dolor cervical frente al uso de un Desprogramador Oclusal; para esto se realizó un estudio de tipo observacional, descriptivo, prospectivo y longitudinal, cuya muestra estuvo conformada por 35 pacientes de 20 a 60 años. Los resultados evidenciaron que las mediciones del dolor fueron realizadas al inicio, a los 7, 14 y 21 días de uso del Desprogramador Oclusal, teniendo como resultado una disminución del dolor cervical a los 7 y 14 días, pero estadísticamente significativa a los 21 días de tratamiento. Se concluye que el Desprogramador Oclusal contribuye notablemente en la disminución del dolor cervical en aquellos pacientes que padecen este tipo de dolor por causas multifactoriales.The objective of this research work is to determine the level of cervical pain after the use of an occlusal deprogrammer; for this purpose, an observational, descriptive, prospective and longitudinal study was carried out, whose sample consisted of 35 patients between 20 and 60 years of age. The results showed that pain measurements were taken at the beginning, at 7, 14 and 21 days of use of the Occlusal Deprogrammer, resulting in a decrease in cervical pain at 7 and 14 days, but statistically significant at 21 days of treatment. It is concluded that the Occlusal Deprogrammer contributes notably in the reduction of cervical pain in those patients who suffer this type of pain due to multifactorial causes.
