Seguimiento farmacoterapéutico por telefarmacia en pacientes con diabetes Mellitus Tipo 2 del Centro de Salud de Carhuamayo.

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene por objetivo evaluar el resultado del seguimiento farmacoterapéutico por Telefarmacia en los pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo 2 del Centro de Salud de Carhuamayo. El estudio fue de tipo cuantitativo, no probabilístico, longitudinal, prospectivo, de diseño pre experimental (pretest - postest). La muestra la constituyeron 70 pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo 2. Los resultados identificaron el nivel de conocimiento donde el 51,4% de los encuestados antes de iniciar la intervención educativa por Telefarmacia su nivel de conocimiento fue bajo y después de la intervención educativa el 55,7% su nivel de conocimiento es medio. En conclusión, se determinó que el estudio tuvo un impacto favorable debido a que los pacientes mejoraron su calidad de vida.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the results of pharmacotherapeutic follow-up by telepharmacy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Carhuamayo Health Center. The study was a quantitative, non-probabilistic, longitudinal, prospective, pre-experimental design (pretest - posttest). The sample consisted of 70 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The results identified the level of knowledge where 51.4% of the respondents before starting the educational intervention by Telefarmacia had a low level of knowledge and after the educational intervention 55.7% had a medium level of knowledge. In conclusion, it was determined that the study had a favorable impact because the patients improved their quality of life.
