Abstract
El objetivo de la siguiente investigación es determinar la relación entre el deterioro cognitivo y el riesgo de caídas en el adulto mayor del hogar San Vicente De Paul, Huancayo 2023. El método fue de tipo básica, diseño no experimental, transversal-correlacional; en la recolección de datos, los instrumentos utilizados fueron el test Mini mental y test Tinetti. Los resultados muestran que el 29,2% con deterioro cognitivo severo y riesgo severo de caídas, el 18,8% con deterioro cognitivo severo y riesgo moderado de caídas, el 12,5% con deterioro cognitivo moderado y riesgo de caída moderado, también el 16,7% sin deterioro cognitivo, pero sí un riesgo moderado de caídas. En conclusión, existe relación entre el deterioro cognitivo y el riesgo de caídas en el adulto mayor del hogar San Vicente de Paúl, Huancayo 2023 (Rho = 0,319 y valor de p=0,027)
