Abstract
El objetivo de la investigación es determinar el tipo y consumo del colágeno para beneficios en la salud en usuarios que frecuentan un establecimiento farmacéutico de la Provincia de Jauja. El método fue transversal y descriptivo, la muestra fue conformada por 98 usuarios. Los resultados muestran que el 73.42% eran mujeres, el 43.04% consumía Collmar N2 (colágeno hidrolizado) y el 34.18% Collagen D (colágeno no hidrolizado). En cuanto a alimentos, el cuy representaba el 30.38% de origen animal y el brócoli el 21.52% de origen vegetal que aporta colágeno. El 35.44% padecía osteoporosis y el 45.57% envejecimiento de la piel. En conclusión; los usuarios del estudio consumieron colágeno para su salud, entre hidrolizado y no hidrolizado.
