Actividad antifúngica del extracto etanólico de Myrciaria dubia (H.B.K.) Mc. Vaugh (camu camu) frente Candida albicans.

Abstract

El objetivo de la siguiente investigación fue demostrar actividad antifúngica el extracto etanólico de Myrciaria dubia “camu camu” frente a Candida albicans. Como método se empleó el cuantitativo, de corte transversal y prospectivo, con diseño experimental, la muestra fue 6 kg del fruto de camu camu, la técnica de estudio fue la maceración en etanol. Los resultados el extracto mostró ser soluble al agua y totalmente soluble al etanol, se observaron halos de inhibición para los extractos al 100%, 75% y 50% de 16,95 DS=0,39; 14,94 DS=0,45 y 12,01 DS=0,20 respectivamente, la actividad antifúngica se evaluó con ANOVA y Tukey, En conclusión, el extracto etanólico de “camu camu” frente Candida albicans presentó actividad antifúngica a las diferentes concentraciones.
