Características clínicas y epidemiológicas de gestantes con preeclampsia atendidas en el Hospital Domingo Olavegoya, Jauja, 2023

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo describir las características clínicas y epidemiológicas de gestantes con preeclampsia atendidas en el Hospital Domingo Olavegoya, Jauja 2023. La investigación fue de tipo descriptiva y de diseño no experimental; la muestra fue de tipo censal; como técnica se consideró el análisis documental y como instrumento una ficha de recolección de datos elaborada en base a las variables de estudio; tuvieron más de 1 cesárea en 72.6%, tuvieron sobrepeso en 52.2%, eran gestantes a término en 78.3%, tuvieron parto eutócico en 65.2%, eran amas de casa con el 69.6%, las edades más frecuentes fueron entre 18-29 años con 69.6%; con 95.7%; concluyendo que se describió las características clínicas y epidemiológicas de gestantes con preeclampsia atendidas en el Hospital Domingo Olavegoya, Jauja 2023.

The objective of this research was to describe the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of pregnant women with preeclampsia treated at the Domingo Olavegoya Hospital, Jauja, in 2023. The study was descriptive in nature and employed a non-experimental design; the sample consisted of a census of the entire population under study. Document analysis was utilized as the data collection technique, and a data collection form—developed based on the study variables—served as the instrument. The findings indicated that 72.6% of the patients had undergone more than one previous cesarean section; 52.2% were overweight; 78.3% were at term; 65.2% experienced a normal (eutocic) delivery; 69.6% were homemakers; and the most frequent age range was 18 to 29 years (69.6%). The study concludes that the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of pregnant women with preeclampsia treated at the Domingo Olavegoya Hospital, Jauja, in 2023, were successfully described.
