Abstract
The aim of the study was to compare the compressive strength of the conventional restorative ionomeric cements Ketac® Molar easy Mix, GC Fuji® IX GP and Bioglass® R immersed in artificial saliva. Quasi-experimental, prospective, cross-sectional and comparative research. The sample consisted of 39 specimens, divided into 3 groups, each with 13 units respectively, immersed in 5 ml of artificial saliva. The results showed that the compressive strength for Ketac® Molar easy Mix was 74.4± 9.5 Mpa, GC Fuji® IX with 52.7 ± 13.31 Mpa and Bioglass® R was 50.5± 9.42 Mpa. It is concluded that when comparing the ionomeric cements there is a significant difference, with Ketac® Molar easy Mix being the one that presented the highest compressive strength.
