Abstract
El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre los conocimientos y las prácticas sobre prevención de lesiones por presión en profesionales de enfermería del Hospital de Lircay durante 2025. La investigación fue de tipo básica, correlacional y de corte transversal. Se utilizó una muestra censal de 23 profesionales de enfermería de los servicios de Medicina y Cirugía La técnica de recolección de datos fue la encuesta. El instrumento empleado fue un cuestionario. El 36% de los profesionales presentó conocimientos altos y buenas prácticas de prevención. El 61% evidenció conocimientos altos, mientras que el 39% mostró prácticas deficientes. Se concluyó que existe una relación significativa entre conocimientos y prácticas, ya que el valor de Chi-cuadrado obtuvo un p-valor menor a 0,05.
The study aimed to determine the relationship between knowledge and practices regarding pressure injury prevention among nursing professionals at Lircay Hospital during 2025. The research was basic, correlational, and cross-sectional. A census sample of 23 nursing professionals from the Medicine and Surgery departments was used. Data was collected through a survey using a questionnaire. Thirty-six percent of the professionals demonstrated high levels of knowledge and good prevention practices. Sixty-one percent showed high levels of knowledge, while 39% demonstrated deficient practices. A significant relationship between knowledge and practices was found, as the chi-square test yielded a p-value less than 0.05.
