Abstract
El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre consumo de sulfato ferroso y pigmentación dentaria en niños pediátricos de dos centros de salud de Callao y Lima 2024. El método fue de diseño correlacional, analítico, observacional y transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 70 niños del Centro de salud de Callao y 99 niños del Centro de salud de Lima. Los resultados indican que los niños del Centro de salud de Lima presentan una mayor tasa de pigmentación dentaria moderada y un menor consumo de sulfato ferroso en comparación con los niños del Centro de salud del Callao. En conclusión, existe relación entre consumo de sulfato ferroso y pigmentación dentaria en niños pediátricos de dos centros de salud de Callao y Lima 2024.
The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between consumption of ferrous sulfate and dental pigmentation in pediatric children in two health centers in Callao and Lima 2024. The method was a correlational, analytical, observational and cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 70 children from the Callao health center and 99 children from the Lima health center. The results indicate that the children from the Lima Health Center have a higher rate of moderate dental pigmentation and a lower consumption of ferrous sulfate compared to the children from the Callao Health Center. In conclusion, there is a relationship between consumption of ferrous sulfate and dental pigmentation in pediatric children from two health centers in Callao and Lima 2024.
