Nivel de conocimiento de higiene oral y estado periodontal en pacientes tratados ortodónticamente en la Clínica Orthodontic de Ayacucho 2022

Abstract

La investigación es de tipo básica como diseño metodológico observacional, no experimental y transversal. El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento de higiene oral y el estado periodontal en los pacientes tratados ortodónticamente en la Clínica Orthodontic de Ayacucho 2022, conformado con una cantidad de muestra de 81 pacientes, donde el instrumento para la recolección de datos fue una ficha de recolección de datos validado por un antecedente de referencia, se halló la confiabilidad mediante el estadístico Alfa de Cronbach de: (0,735- 0,749) demostrando alta confiabilidad. En el resultado, la prueba de Hipótesis General según el estadístico Chi cuadrado da a conocer un nivel de significancia de 0.004 que por ser menor a 0.05 se concluyó la investigación que existe relación positiva entre el nivel de conocimiento de higiene oral y estado periodontal.The research is of basic type as an observational, non-experimental and transversal methodological design. The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of oral hygiene and periodontal status in patients treated orthodontically at the Orthodontic Clinic of Ayacucho 2022, conformed with a sample of 81 patients, where the instrument for data collection was a data collection form validated by a reference antecedent, the reliability was found by Cronbach's Alpha statistic of: (0.735- 0.749) demonstrating high reliability. In the result, the General Hypothesis test according to the Chi-square statistic shows a significance level of 0.004 which, being less than 0.05, concluded the research that there is a positive relationship between the level of knowledge of oral hygiene and periodontal status.
