Efecto antibacteriano de la crema a base de aceite de Origanum vulgare L. (orégano) frente a Staphylococcus aureus, Chiclayo-2022

Abstract

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo demostrar el efecto antibacteriano de la crema a base de aceite esencial de Origanum vulgare L. (Orégano) sobre Staphylococcus aureus, Chiclayo-2022. Se aplicó el método de difusión en pozo para determinar el efecto antibacteriano de la crema. Los resultados demostraron que al 10% obtuvo halos de inhibición 7,96 mm; al 15% formó halos de inhibición de 10,03 mm; al 20% fue de 10,53mm; el control negativo (crema base) presentó halos de inhibición de 6,13 mm + 0,38 mm y el control positivo (Notil) de 18,75 mm + 0,42 mm. Se demostró el efecto antibacteriano de la crema a base de aceite esencial de Origanum vulgare L. (orégano) sobre Staphylococcus aureus, pero el efecto es menor que la crema comercial Notil.

The objective of this work was to demonstrate the antibacterial effect of the cream based on Origanum vulgare L. (Oregano) essential oil on Staphylococcus aureus, Chiclayo-2022. The well diffusion method was applied to determine the antibacterial effect of the cream. The results showed that at 10% it obtained inhibition halos of 7.96 mm; at 15% it formed inhibition halos of 10.03 mm; at 20% it was 10.53 mm; the negative control (base cream) presented inhibition halos of 6.13 mm + 0.38 mm and the positive control (Notil) of 18.75 mm + 0.42 mm. The antibacterial effect of the cream based on essential oil of Origanum vulgare L. (oregano) on Staphylococcus aureus was demonstrated, but the effect is less than that of the commercial cream Notil.
