Abstract
La presente investigación corresponde un estudio de tipo básico y nivel descriptivo, de diseño no experimental, retrospectivo, transversal, realizado en una muestra de 330 casos clínicos de los meses de febrero -agosto 2021, empleándose la técnica de análisis documental mediante revisión de historias clínicas y el instrumento empleado fue la ficha de recolección de datos. Conclusiones: Se encuentra una prevalencia de hiperplasia prostática benigna distribuidos en 64 % entre las edades de 61 a 70 años, seguido de un 36 % entre las edades de 50 a 60 años
The present research corresponds to a basic descriptive study, with a non-experimental, retrospective, cross-sectional design, carried out on a sample of 330 clinical cases from February-August 2021, using the documentary analysis technique by reviewing clinical histories and the instrument used was the data collection form. Conclusions: A prevalence of benign prostatic hyperplasia is found distributed in 64 % between the ages of 61 to 70 years, followed by 36 % between the ages of 50 to 60 years
