Acompañamiento durante el parto asociado a beneficios maternos perinatales en gestantes atendidas en el Hospital Regional Docente Materno Infantil “El Carmen” febrero – abril 2018.

Abstract

Hasta finales del siglo XIX las mujeres eran orientadas acerca del parto por medio de sus madres, el parto se llevaba a cabo en la comodidad del hogar practicando ciertos rituales y tradiciones. Ya en el siglo XX cuando el parto se trasladó a los hospitales, hizo que las gestantes perdieran el apoyo que les brindaban los familiares y la partera, sin embargo, la atención de los partos en los establecimientos de salud ha traído múltiples beneficios a las madres y a sus recién nacidos, pero no se debe obviar los beneficios que puede brindar la participación del acompañante durante el parto. Cuyo objetivo fue identificar si el acompañamiento durante el parto se asocia con los beneficios maternos perinatales en las gestantes atendidas en el Hospital Regional Docente Materno Infantil “El Carmen”, febrero – abril 2018.

Until the end of the 19th century, women were oriented about childbirth through their mothers, childbirth was carried out in the comfort of the home, practicing certain rituals and traditions. Already in the twentieth century when childbirth was transferred to hospitals, it was made that pregnant women lost the support provided to family members and the midwife, however, the delivery of births in the field of health has brought multiple benefits mothers are already newborns, but the benefits that can be provided by the companion during delivery should not be overlooked.
