Perfil del Químico Farmacéutico sobre las formulaciones magistrales que se preparan en el Hospital Regional Docente Materno Infantil El Carmen

Abstract

La preparación del medicamento por parte del químico farmacéutico evita la marginación terapéutica de aquellos pacientes que requieren una fórmula especial, por ello el OBJETIVO de esta investigación fue evaluar el perfil del químico farmacéutico sobre las formulaciones magistrales que se preparan en el Hospital Regional Docente Materno Infantil “El Carmen”, siendo la METODOLOGÍA, mediante un diseño de investigación descriptivo : Descriptivo, con unidad de análisis: perfil profesional del químico farmacéutico y una MUESTRA divididos entre 10 químicos farmacéuticos y 2533 prescripciones de fórmulas magistrales, la técnica fue la entrevista y análisis documental y el instrumento fue la guía de entrevista, receta médica; alcanzándose como RESULTADOS que la mayoría (5) 50 % ,de químicos farmacéuticos refieren que ocasionalmente(o)brindan atención farmacéutica sobre fórmulas magistrales, también siempre(s), hacen cumplir las buenas prácticas de almacenamiento y dispensación en el área de farmacotecnia y aseguran la suficiente provisión de materia prima y suministro de medicamentos. Más de la mitad (6), refieren que siempre (s) supervisan la fecha de expiración de las fórmulas magistrales. CONCLUYÉNDOSE, que los químicos farmacéuticos del Hospital Regional Docente Materno Infantil El Carmen, cumplen su perfil profesional en cuanto a las formulaciones magistrales como frecuente y siempre.

The preparation of the drug by the pharmaceutical chemist avoids the therapeutic marginalization of those patients that require a special formula, therefore the OBJECTIVE of this investigation was to evaluate the profile of the pharmaceutical chemist on the master formulations that are prepared in the Regional Maternal and Child Teaching Hospital "El Carmen", being the METHODOLOGY, by means of a descriptive research design: Descriptive, with unit of analysis: professional profile of the pharmaceutical chemist and a SAMPLE divided among 10 pharmaceutical chemists and 2533 prescriptions of master formulas, the technique was the interview and analysis documentary and the instrument was the interview guide, medical prescription; reaching as RESULTS that the majority (5) 50% of pharmaceutical chemists report that occasionally (or) provide pharmaceutical care on master formulas, also always (s), enforce good storage and dispensing practices in the area of ​​pharmacology and ensure sufficient supply of raw material and supply of medicines. More than half (6) refer that they always supervise the expiration date of the master formulas. CONCLUDING, that the pharmaceutical chemists of the Regional Maternal and Child Teaching Hospital El Carmen, meet their professional profile in terms of master formulations as frequent and always.
