Características de la prescripción de antibióticos en pacientes con enfermedades respiratorias del Hospital Militar Central

Abstract

El objetivo es determinar las características de la prescripción de antibióticos en pacientes con enfermedades respiratorias atendidos en el hospital Militar Central. Como método, se utilizó el tipo básico, descriptivo. La muestra estuvo constituida por 79 recetas de pacientes con enfermedades respiratorias. Teniendo como resultados. Existe un predominio del género masculino (70, 9%), respecto al grupo etario el 44,3% son mayores de 50 años, el 26,6% tienen de 35 a 50 años, respecto a las frecuencias de diagnóstico el 24,1% fueron diagnosticados con bronquiectasia, el 19,0% diagnosticados con neumonía. Concluyendo que la proporción de fármacos recetados incluidos en la lista de medicamentos esenciales o formulario en pacientes con enfermedades respiratorias, se determina que el 87,3% de los medicamentos prescritos están incluidos en la lista de medicamentos esenciales.

The objective was to determine the characteristics of antibiotic prescription in patients with respiratory diseases treated at the Central Military Hospital. The basic descriptive method was used. The sample consisted of 79 prescriptions of patients with respiratory diseases. The results were as follows. There is a predominance of male gender (70.9%), regarding the age group, 44.3% are older than 50 years, 26.6% are between 35 and 50 years, regarding the frequency of diagnosis, 24.1% were diagnosed with bronchiectasis, 19.0% were diagnosed with pneumonia. Concluding that the proportion of prescribed drugs included in the list of essential drugs or formulary in patients with respiratory diseases, it is determined that 87.3% of the prescribed drugs are included in the list of essential drugs.
