Conocimiento y actitud sobre la vacuna contra el VPH en padres de familia de la botica Superfarma, Carhuamayo 2023.

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y las actitudes sobre la vacuna contra el VPH en padres de familia de la Botica Superfarma, Carhuamayo 2023. El estudio adopta el método científico, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo correlacional, diseño no experimental. La muestra estuvo conformada por 93 personas. Los resultados evidencian que un 47% presentaron un nivel de conocimiento deficiente, 26% un nivel regular, un 27% nivel bueno; el 59% de las personas muestran una actitud negativa frente a un 41% con actitud positiva; un 63% de padres de familia vacunó a sus hijos entre los 9 a 14 años de edad; mientras que un 37% entre los 15 año a más; el efecto secundario más común fue fiebre (29%). Se concluyó que el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud sobre la vacuna son variables dependientes (la significación asintótica bilateral 0,580 < 0,05).

The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes about the HPV vaccine in parents of the Botica Superfarma, Carhuamayo 2023. The study adopts the scientific method, quantitative approach, correlational type, non-experimental design. The sample consisted of 93 people. The results show that 47% presented a deficient level of knowledge, 26% a regular level, 27% a good level; 59% of the people showed a negative attitude compared to 41% with a positive attitude; 63% of parents vaccinated their children between 9 and 14 years of age; while 37% between 15 years of age and older; the most common side effect was fever (29%). It was concluded that the level of knowledge and attitude about the vaccine are dependent variables (bilateral asymptotic significance 0.580 < 0.05).
