Conocimientos y Actitud Sobre Lactancia Materna Exclusiva en Puérperas del Hospital de Pampas, Huancavelica 2024.

Abstract

El objetivo del estudio fue determinar la relación que existe entre conocimiento y actitud sobre lactancia materna exclusiva en puérperas del hospital de Pampas, Huancavelica 2024. El método fue descriptivo correlacional, de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal; la muestra fue conformada por 80 puérperas. Los resultados muestran en cuanto al nivel de conocimiento de lactancia materna exclusiva en puérperas se registró ligero predominio del nivel medio con un 52,50% seguido de 36,25% de nivel bajo y 11,25% conocimiento alto. En cuanto a las actitudes el 55,0% de puérperas registraron actitud negativa y el 45,0% positiva. En conclusión, existe una correlación directa, significativa y moderada entre las variables conocimiento y actitud sobre lactancia materna exclusiva.

The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitude about exclusive breastfeeding among postpartum women in the hospital of Pampas, Huancavelica 2024. The method was descriptive correlational, quantitative approach, non-experimental design, cross-sectional; the sample consisted of 80 puerperal women. The results show that the level of knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding in puerperal women showed a slight predominance of medium level with 52.50%, followed by 36.25% of low level and 11.25% of high level. As for attitudes, 55.0% of the puerperal women had a negative attitude and 45.0% a positive one. In conclusion, there is a direct, significant and moderate correlation between the variables knowledge and attitude about exclusive breastfeeding.
