Factores asociados a la adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con diabetes mellitus II del Centro de Salud Bolognesi, Tacna – 2024.

Abstract

La investigación tuvo por objetivo identificar la relación entre los factores y la adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con diabetes mellitus II del Centro de Salud Bolognesi, Tacna – 2024. El método fue aplicada y de enfoque cuantitativo; la muestra la constituyeron 300 pacientes con diabetes mellitus II. Los resultados muestran que, el 57,0% de los pacientes la duración de su enfermedad es entre 6 a 10 años, el 41,0% presenta hipertensión, el 47,7% de los pacientes toman de 4 a más medicamentos al día; sobre la atención médica el 59,3% están inscritos en algún programa para la diabetes y el 72,7% han recibido educación sobre la diabetes. El 54,7% de los pacientes presentaron adherencia al tratamiento. En conclusión, existe relación estadística entre los factores y la adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con diabetes mellitus II.

The objective of the research was to identify the relationship between factors and adherence to treatment in patients with diabetes mellitus II at the Bolognesi Health Center, Tacna - 2024. The method was applied and quantitative; the sample consisted of 300 patients with diabetes mellitus II. The results show that 57.0% of the patients have had the disease for 6 to 10 years, 41.0% have hypertension, 47.7% of the patients take 4 or more medications a day, 59.3% are enrolled in a diabetes program and 72.7% have received education on diabetes. Adherence to treatment was observed in 54.7% of the patients. In conclusion, there is a statistical relationship between the factors and adherence to treatment in patients with diabetes mellitus II.
