Conocimiento sobre salud bucal según factores sociodemográficos de padres en niños de un colegio de Huancayo, 2023.

Abstract

El objetivo es determinar el conocimiento sobre salud bucal según factores sociodemográficos de padres en niños de un colegio de Huancayo, 2023. Como método, será de diseño no experimental, prospectivo y transversal, se emplearán y se recogerá la información en cuestionarios. Los resultados del total de padres encuestados n=153, el 34% tiene conocimiento alto sobre salud bucal, el 50.3% medio y el 15.7% bajo. El 41.8% son hombres y el 58.2% mujeres. En cuanto a edad, el 13.7% tiene entre 20-30 años, En nivel educativo 37.3%tiene instrucción primaria, 47.1% secundaria y 15.7% superior. En conclusión existe la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre salud bucal y el sexo, edad y grado de instrucción de los padres de los niños de 6 a 8 años de un colegio de Huancayo.

The objective is to determine the knowledge about oral health according to sociodemographic factors of parents in children of a school in Huancayo, 2023. As a method, it will be a non-experimental, prospective and cross-sectional design, and the information will be collected in questionnaires. The results of the total number of parents surveyed n=153, 34% have high knowledge about oral health, 50.3% medium and 15.7% low. The 41.8% were male and 58.2% were female. In terms of age, 13.7% are between 20-30 years old, in educational level 37.3% have primary education, 47.1% have secondary education and 15.7% have higher education. In conclusion, there is a relationship between the level of knowledge about oral health and the sex, age and educational level of the parents of children between 6 and 8 years of age in a school in Huancayo.
