Nivel de ansiedad en Madres y tipo de comportamiento en Niños durante primera cita Odontológica, Ayacucho 2025

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo general determinar la relación entre el nivel de ansiedad en madres y tipo de comportamiento en niños durante la primera cita odontológica, Ayacucho 2025. El estudio fue de tipo básico, transversal, correlacional y no experimental. La muestra fueron 163 niños de 5 a 10 años de edad. En los resultados, el Tipo II de comportamiento del niño (comportamiento negativo) se asocia en mayor proporción con madres que manifestaron ansiedad moderada (29.4%). Los niños de 10 años representaron el grupo más numeroso (25.8% del total), y dentro de este grupo se destaca la mayor frecuencia de comportamientos Tipo II (11.7%). En conclusión, sí existe una relación significativa entre el nivel de ansiedad de las madres y el tipo de comportamiento de los niños durante su primera cita odontológica en Ayacucho, 2025.

The overall objective of the study was to determine the relationship between mothers' anxiety levels and children's behavior during their first dental appointment, Ayacucho 2025. The study was basic, cross-sectional, correlational, and non-experimental. The sample consisted of 163 children aged 5 to 10 years. The results showed that Type II behavior in children (negative behavior) was associated to a greater extent with mothers who reported moderate anxiety (29.4%). Ten-year-old children represented the largest group (25.8% of the total), and within this group, the highest frequency of Type II behaviors (11.7%) was noted. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between the level of anxiety of mothers and the type of behavior of children during their first dental appointment in Ayacucho, 2025.
