Conocimiento sobre la prescripción de antibióticos en los alumnos de una Universidad Privada, Huancayo 2024.

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue evaluar el nivel de conocimiento sobre la prescripción de antibióticos en los alumnos de una Universidad Privada, Huancayo 2024. Este estudio fue descriptivo y transversal; la muestra incluyó a 65 estudiantes del 7mo y 8vo ciclo. El nivel de conocimiento sobre la prescripción de antibióticos muestra que el 69.2% (45) tiene un nivel malo; el 30.8% (20) un nivel regular y el 0.0% (0) un nivel bueno; sobre de la elección de antibióticos, se evidencia que el 63.1% presenta un nivel de conocimiento malo, el 32.3% regular y un 4.6% bueno. En conclusión; el nivel conocimiento acerca de la prescripción de antibióticos entre los estudiantes UPHFR es malo, con un 69.2%.

The objective of this research was to evaluate the level of knowledge about antibiotic prescription among students at a private university in Huancayo in 2024. This was a descriptive, cross-sectional study; the sample included 65 students in their 7th and 8th semesters. The level of knowledge about antibiotic prescription shows that 69.2% (45) have a poor level of knowledge; 30.8% (20) had a fair level, and 0.0% (0) had a good level. Regarding the choice of antibiotics, it was found that 63.1% had a poor level of knowledge, 32.3% had a fair level, and 4.6% had a good level. In conclusion, the level of knowledge about antibiotic prescribing among UPHFR students is poor, at 69.2%.
