Asociación del cepillado dental con el acceso al agua potable en niños y adolescentes del distrito de Jesús Nazareno-Ayacucho-2020

Abstract

El presente estudio de investigación tuvo como objetivo general determinar la asociación entre cepillado dental con el acceso al agua potable en niños y adolescentes del distrito de Jesús Nazareno- Ayacucho 2020. El estudio es de diseño metodológico correlacionar, observacional, retrospectivo de corte transversal se empleó como instrumento de recolección de datos, el cuestionario Ficha Técnica de Investigación (FTI). En esta ficha se consignará datos personales, información de cepillado dental y del acceso del agua. Que fue aplicado por un total de 4685 niños y adolescentes del distrito de Jesús Nazareno, provincia de Huamanga de la región de Ayacucho. Nuestros resultados reportan observándose que del total de encuestados que tienen buenos técnicas de cepillado dental el 97.6% tienen acceso al agua potable; del total de encuestado que tienen técnica de cepillado dental regular el 96.6% tienen acceso al agua potable y del total de encuestado con técnica mala en cepillado dental el 84.7% no tienen acceso al agua potable. Conclusiones: Se halló que Existe una asociación significativa entre cepillado dental con el acceso al agua potable en niños y adolescentes del distrito de Jesús Nazareno, Ayacucho 2020

The general objective of this research study was to determine the association between tooth brushing and access to drinking water in children and adolescents in the district of Jesús Nazareno - Ayacucho 2020. The study is of a correlational, observational, retrospective, cross-sectional methodological design, using the questionnaire Ficha Técnica de Investigación (FTI) as a data collection instrument. This form contains personal data, information on toothbrushing and access to water. It was applied to a total of 4685 children and adolescents in the district of Jesús Nazareno, province of Huamanga in the Ayacucho region. Our results report observing that of the total respondents who have good tooth brushing techniques 97.6% have access to drinking water; of the total respondents who have regular tooth brushing technique 96.6% have access to drinking water and of the total respondents with poor tooth brushing technique 84.7% do not have access to drinking water. Conclusions: It was found that there is a significant association between toothbrushing and access to drinking water in children and adolescents in the district of Jesús Nazareno, Ayacucho 2020
