Abstract
La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre los factores sociodemográficos y el nivel de conocimiento sobre caries dental en cuidadores de familia de niños de 6 a 8 años de una I.E. N° 70542 Santa Barbara– Juliaca, 2025. Fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de nivel descriptivo relacional y de diseño no experimental de corte transversal. La muestra fueron 153 cuidadores de familia de niños. En los resultados el 34,0% de los cuidadores presentaron un nivel alto de conocimiento sobre caries dental, el 50,3% un nivel medio y el 15,7% un nivel bajo. Se concluyó que existe relación significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre caries dental y los factores sociodemográficos como sexo, edad y grado de instrucción de los cuidadores de niños de 6 a 8 años de una I.E. de Juliaca, 2025.
