Abstract
El estudio tuvo como objetivo establecer la relación entre la capacidad funcional y la calidad de vida en adultos mayores del Centro de Salud San Ramón, Chanchamayo, 2025. Fue de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo básico, diseño no experimental y corte transversal-correlacional. La muestra conformada por 344 participantes. Para recolectar los datos se aplicaron el Índice de Barthel y el cuestionario WHOQOL-BREF. Predomino la dependencia moderada (36,6 %), el 26,7 % dependencia grave y el 13,7 % dependencia total. En cuanto a la calidad de vida, el 57,0 % presentó nivel bajo, el 33,4 % moderado y el 9,6 % alto. Se concluyó que existe una relación significativa entre la capacidad funcional y la calidad de vida de los adultos mayores (Rho = 0,867; p < 0,01).
The study aimed to establish the relationship between functional capacity and quality of life among older adults at the San Ramón Health Center, Chanchamayo, in 2025.
