Abstract
La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la prevalencia de maloclusiones odontológicas en pacientes atendidos de 7 a 15 años en el Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño Breña 2025. Se realizo una investigación básica, diseño no experimental, descriptiva y transversal. La muestra estuvo constituida por 306 historias clínicas, seleccionadas por muestreo probabilístico aleatorio simple, mediante revisión documental analizada en SPSS v25. Los resultados mostraron que los meses con mayor atención fueron enero y julio; el 92,4% de los pacientes procedía de Lima. La Clase III fue más frecuente a los 15 años y predominó en el sexo masculino, con porcentajes de 50,0% a 58,1%. Se concluyó que predominó la Clase III, lado derecho 34,3% e izquierdo 36,3%; seguido de la Clase I con 31,4% lado derecho y 29,4% lado izquierdo.

A basic, non-experimental, descriptive, and cross-sectional study was conducted. The sample consisted of 306 medical records selected via simple random sampling and analyzed using SPSS v25. Results showed that the months with the highest patient volume were January and July; 92.4% of patients were from Lima. Class III malocclusion was most frequent at age 15 and predominated among males, with rates ranging from 50.0% to 58.1%. It was concluded that Class III malocclusion predominated (34.3% on the right side and 36.3% on the left), followed by Class I (31.4% on the right side and 29.4% on the left).
