Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre los hábitos alimenticios y el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de la Institución Educativa San Juan Evangelista de Pampahuasi, Huancavelica 2026. El estudio fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico, nivel correlacional y diseño no experimental de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 74 estudiantes. Para la recolección de datos se aplicó un cuestionario para evaluar los hábitos alimenticios y una ficha de recolección de datos para el rendimiento académico. Los resultados mostraron que el 47,3 % presentó hábitos alimenticios inadecuados y el 44,6 % se ubicó en el nivel en proceso (B). La prueba Rho de Spearman evidenció una relación positiva moderada y significativa (Rho = 0,430; p < 0,001). Se concluyó que existió una relación significativa y moderada entre los hábitos alimenticios y el rendimiento académico.
The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between eating habits and academic performance among students at the San Juan Evangelista Educational Institution in Pampahuasi, Huancavelica. The study employed a quantitative approach, was basic in nature, correlational in level, and utilized a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 74 students. Data collection involved the use of a questionnaire to assess eating habits and a data collection form for academic performance. The results showed that 47.3% of the students exhibited inadequate eating habits, and 44.6% fell into the "in-process" (B) performance level. Spearman's Rho test revealed a significant, moderate positive relationship (Rho = 0.430; p < 0.001). It was concluded that there was a significant, moderate relationship between eating habits and academic performance.
