Programa Educativo “Decisiones Seguras” Para Conocer Sobre Métodos Anticonceptivos Hormonales En Adolescentes De La Institución Educativa Mariscal Castilla, Huancayo 2026

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el efecto del Programa Educativo “Decisiones Seguras” sobre el conocimiento de métodos anticonceptivos hormonales en adolescentes de la I.E. Mariscal Castilla, Huancayo, 2026. El estudio fue cuantitativo, aplicado y preexperimental, con 90 adolescentes. Se aplicó un cuestionario de 16 ítems antes y después de la intervención. En el pretest, el 88,9 % presentó conocimiento bajo; después del programa, este disminuyó al 64,4 %, aumentando los niveles medio y alto. La prueba de Wilcoxon mostró una diferencia significativa (p < 0,001). Se concluyó que el programa fue efectivo para mejorar el conocimiento sobre métodos anticonceptivos hormonales.
The study aimed to determine the effect of the "Safe Decisions" Educational Program on knowledge regarding hormonal contraceptive methods among adolescents at the Mariscal Castilla Educational Institution in Huancayo (2026). This was a quantitative, applied, pre-experimental study involving 90 adolescents. A 16-item questionnaire was administered before and after the intervention. In the pre-test, 88.9% of participants demonstrated low knowledge; following the program, this figure dropped to 64.4%, while the proportions of participants with medium and high knowledge levels increased. The Wilcoxon test revealed a significant difference (p < 0.001). It was concluded that the program was effective in improving knowledge about hormonal contraceptive methods.
