Abstract
The objective was to compare the results obtained via maceration, Soxhlet, and ultrasound-assisted extraction, considering extraction yield, phenolic compound content, and antioxidant activity of *Anacardium occidentale* leaves from Perené. The research was basic, quantitative, descriptive-comparative, experimental (laboratory-based), and cross-sectional. The sample consisted of healthy, mature *A. occidentale* leaves. Extracts were obtained using 70% ethanol and evaluated based on extraction yield, Folin-Ciocalteu, DPPH, and ABTS assays. It was concluded that the results varied according to the extraction method employed; given that only a single extraction was performed per method, the differences should be interpreted descriptively within the context of the study's experimental conditions.
