The study aimed to determine the effect of an educational program on knowledge regarding sexuality among fifth-year secondary students at the Wari Vilca educational institution in Huayucachi, Peru, in 2026. A quantitative, applied study was conducted using a pre-test/post-test design with a single group of 60 students. Pre-test and post-test scores were compared using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed a significant increase in the proportion of students with a high level of knowledge—from 3.3% to 86.7%—with the overall mean score rising from 15.1 to 26.6 points. Significant improvements were observed across all dimensions (p < 0.001). It is concluded that the program improved knowledge regarding sexuality, although the absence of a control group limits the ability to attribute these gains exclusively to the intervention.
