Abstract
La investigación tiene como objetivo determinar las interacciones medicamentosas en pacientes con hipertensión arterial en el Hospital Daniel A. Carrión Huancayo en 2024. La metodología que se utilizó en el estudio fue observacional, descriptiva y retrospectiva, con una muestra de 92 pacientes hipertensos. Resultando que el 72,8% eran mujeres, el 55,4% eran adultos mayores, el 41,3% tomaban entre 5 y 6 medicamentos, y el 53,3% presentaban 2 interacciones medicamentosas. Además, el 35,9% tenía 3 diagnósticos al ingresar al programa de crónicos por hipertensión arterial. Se concluyó que el 46,7% de las interacciones medicamentosas tenían severidad moderada y el 52,2% eran de tipo farmacocinético.
