Interacciones medicamentosas en pacientes con hipertensión arterial atendidos en el Hospital Daniel A. Carrión Huancayo, 2024.

Abstract

La investigación tiene como objetivo determinar las interacciones medicamentosas en pacientes con hipertensión arterial en el Hospital Daniel A. Carrión Huancayo en 2024. La metodología que se utilizó en el estudio fue observacional, descriptiva y retrospectiva, con una muestra de 92 pacientes hipertensos. Resultando que el 72,8% eran mujeres, el 55,4% eran adultos mayores, el 41,3% tomaban entre 5 y 6 medicamentos, y el 53,3% presentaban 2 interacciones medicamentosas. Además, el 35,9% tenía 3 diagnósticos al ingresar al programa de crónicos por hipertensión arterial. Se concluyó que el 46,7% de las interacciones medicamentosas tenían severidad moderada y el 52,2% eran de tipo farmacocinético.

The objective of this study was to determine drug-drug interactions in patients with arterial hypertension at the Daniel A. Carrión Huancayo Hospital in 2024. The methodology used in the study was observational, descriptive and retrospective, with a sample of 92 hypertensive patients. The results showed that 72.8% were women, 55.4% were older adults, 41.3% were taking between 5 and 6 medications, and 53.3% had 2 drug interactions. In addition, 35.9% had 3 diagnoses when entering the chronic program for arterial hypertension. It was concluded that 46.7% of the drug-drug interactions were of moderate severity and 52.2% were of the pharmacokinetic type.
