Abstract

The results showed no statistically significant relationship between the level of knowledge and self-medication (χ² = 2.233; df = 2; p = 0.327; Cramer's V = 0.093). It was concluded that the level of knowledge regarding antibiotics was not significantly related to the practice of self-medication among the customers evaluated.
